Article Marketing Basics ExplainedBy: Bonnie Jo Davis
If you've been writing and submitting free reprint articles for any length of time you know that each submission site has its own set of guidelines for writers. If you are new to the process you may not know that there are standard practices that apply in most cases for having your articles accepted.
* MarcommWise and our sibling publications, ManagerWise and ITStartPage, do not have set word limits. However, we expect articles to have enough meat in them such that readers will feel that it was worth their whiles to surf to them. A general rule of thumb is that an article has to be particularly valuable to be accepted with less than 700 words.
** MarcommWise, ManagerWise and ITStartPage run article repositories, not ezines. As such, articles do tend to stay there forever. We don't promise to never delete articles, but deletions are exceptionally rare. A corollary of this policy is that we tend to reject articles that will become dated too soon.
